These terms govern your use of the Kerb website and services. Kerb is a trading name of Tech Pickle Studios Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By using our site or services, you agree to these terms.
Kerb provides website design and hosting services for small businesses. Our core offering is:
The redesign preview we create is provided free of charge with no obligation. You are under no pressure to proceed. If you choose not to go ahead, you don't owe us anything.
The preview remains our intellectual property until payment is made. You may not use, copy, or publish the preview design without purchasing the service.
The one-off website fee of £299 is due before your new site goes live. We will agree payment terms with you by email before any work is finalised.
Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change our pricing, but any price quoted to you will be honoured for 30 days.
Your first 3 months of hosting are included in the £299 fee at no extra cost. After that, hosting continues at £29/month. This includes:
You can cancel hosting at any time. If you cancel, we will help you export your site files and migrate to another provider at no charge.
Once payment is made in full, you own your website content, copy, and design. If you leave our hosting, we will provide all site files on request.
Your domain name remains yours at all times. We will never hold your domain hostage or make it difficult to transfer.
The preview we send is a starting point. Once you've paid, we will work with you to refine the design, copy, colours, and layout until you're happy. Reasonable revisions are included in the price.
Requests that significantly expand the scope of the original project (e.g. adding e-commerce, booking systems, or additional pages beyond the agreed scope) may incur additional costs, which we will agree with you in advance.

You can cancel at any point before your site goes live for a full refund. After your site is live, the £299 design fee is non-refundable, but you may cancel the monthly hosting at any time with 30 days' notice.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
